The Mulberry Market is a community based, producer focused farmers market created and maintained by Community Health Works. In 2009, Community Health Works saw an opportunity to increase access to healthy, food items while providing a sustainable, direct-to-consumer sales outlet for local farmers and ranchers. Community Health Works, the City of Macon, and other partners came together to create the Mulberry Market. As Community Health Works focuses on community health improvement, the Mulberry Market has had a unique focus on health improvement and local agriculture since its inception.
